Digital India Talk Show – Managed by CSI-IW Society
The CSI Society had the privilege of managing the Digital India Talk Show, conducted under the official Digital India Initiative (Government of India). The event focused on India’s ongoing digital transformation and the role of technology in governance, innovation, and inclusive growth. With thought-provoking discussions led by the Digital India team, the talk show highlighted key initiatives, e-governance platforms, and opportunities for students to engage with the vision of a digitally empowered India. CSI Society took charge of the event coordination, logistics, and student engagement activities, ensuring smooth execution and meaningful participation. The session concluded with an interactive dialogue that encouraged students to share ideas on harnessing technology for nation-building.
Zypher'25
Zypher is the annual flagship event of CSI-INNOWAVE Society, organized as the official orientation for freshers. The latest edition was a grand celebration, with the auditorium filled to capacity and an atmosphere of excitement and energy. The event showcased a vibrant lineup, including guest speakers, a comedy show, live performances by two musicians, and a dynamic dance crew. Blending entertainment, creativity, and inspiration, Zypher introduced freshers to the culture of the society while encouraging bonding with seniors and peers. As one of the most awaited CSI events of the year, Zypher truly captured the spirit of community, creativity, and celebration, making it a memorable start for the new batch.
CSI-IW Premier League
The CSI-IW Premier League was an exclusive sports event organized for the members of CSI Society, aimed at fostering team spirit, fitness, and fun bonding beyond technical activities. The event featured exciting cricket matches where members participated with great enthusiasm, competing in teams through the main rounds. The atmosphere was filled with energy, healthy competition, and camaraderie. The league concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners were awarded trophies and medals in recognition of their performance. More than just a tournament, CPL served as a platform for members to relax, connect, and strengthen friendships, making it one of the most memorable society events.
Study & Career opportunities abroad Webinar
This seminar, led by Mr. Arun Bhatia, AVP – Sales, was designed to guide students through the diverse possibilities of pursuing higher education and professional pathways overseas. The session explored top universities and programs across the world, scholarship and financial aid options, as well as application processes and eligibility requirements. With a focus on practical insights into visa guidance and post-study opportunities, the event equipped students with a comprehensive understanding of international academic prospects and career-building avenues.
AWS Party Rock Hackathon
The AWS Party Rock Hackathon, held at the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, was an electrifying 24-hour event designed to immerse participants in the world of cloud computing, AI/ML, and prompt engineering. Featuring talks by industry experts, the hackathon offered students hands-on experience with AWS’s no-code AI platforms through a gamified learning approach. Participants collaborated intensively, building projects and exploring real-world applications of cloud technology, making it an unmatched opportunity for practical learning, innovation, and networking in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Dwandh
Dwandh brought the thrill of competitive gaming to the fest, offering participants an electrifying esports experience. The event was structured to combine strategy, skill, and teamwork, attracting gaming enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. With high-energy matchups and an enthusiastic audience, Dwandh showcased the growing significance of esports as both a form of entertainment and a competitive pursuit, creating one of the most engaging highlights of the event.
Code Genesis
Code Genesis was organized as the flagship hackathon of the fest, designed to challenge participants with real-world problem statements and test their problem-solving, coding, and innovation skills. Conducted in multiple rounds, the competition encouraged teamwork, creativity, and technical expertise, ultimately culminating in its grand finale at the Microsoft Office. The event served as a platform for aspiring developers to explore practical applications of technology while gaining valuable industry-level exposure.
Uncharted'25
The event was organized as a techno-cultural celebration, designed to provide a comprehensive platform that combined technology, culture, and competitive spirit. Its primary purpose was to encourage innovation, showcase artistic talent, and foster a sense of collaboration among participants. The proceedings commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a devotional Ganesh Vandana, setting an auspicious tone for the day. The event featured insightful sessions led by industry experts, captivating cultural performances, and a diverse range of activities that highlighted both creativity and technical excellence. On the technical front, the flagship hackathon Code Genesis engaged participants in multiple competitive rounds, culminating in its grand finale at the Microsoft Office. Complementing this was Dwandh, the high-energy esports competition, which brought an element of excitement and sporting spirit to the gathering. CSIINNOWAVE also brought in Dolfy Learning to provide additional internship opportunities for students, contributing to the event's success.
Mindforge at TnM
MindForge, the pinnacle of intellect and skill, enthralled participants at TechSurge and Mridang on April 24th and 25th, 2024! Hosted by CSIINNOWAVE, the event featured four thrilling rounds: Tech Quiz, Word Search, Wiki Race, and MetaSpace Gaming Stall. With free registration and exciting prizes, it was the ultimate fusion of fun and intellect!
Intern Nexus
CSI-INNOWAVE organized an exclusive internship drive on March 14th, 2024, in collaboration with Jugaad City for society students. The event featured multiple rounds focusing on critical thinking and website debugging skills. Goodies were awarded to the most engaged students and the student coordinators, making the event a memorable experience.
MetaSpace Gaming Station (Innovation Mela)
CSI-INNOWAVE and MetaSpace collaborated to host a gaming station at the Innovation Mela 2024 on February 22nd, 2024. The event attracted students from various colleges who competed for cash prizes, official MetaSpace merchandise, and the opportunity to beta test innovative games, making it a resounding success.
10th Volleyball Tournament
CSI-INNOWAVE successfully hosted a college volleyball tournament on February 15th, bringing together over 30 teams in a celebration of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Faculty coordinator Dr. Vinay Kumar Saini and the team meticulously organized the event, ensuring its success. Among the participants, PGDAV College, Amity University, MAIMS, and Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology & Management emerged as the winning teams, showcasing exceptional talent and teamwork.

Rookie Roadmap was the first event organized by CSI-INNOWAVE, designed to guide and inspire newcomers in the tech and innovation space. The event provided a comprehensive overview of the society’s mission, activities, and opportunities, helping participants navigate their journey in technology, entrepreneurship, and creative exploration. Code It Out
On October 19, 2022, CSI MAIT hosted "CODE IT OUT!!"—a seminar dedicated to mastering DSA for top tech companies. Led by Bharat Khanna, an IIT alumnus and Candidate Master on Codeforces, the session provided valuable insights into DSA strategies, hiring trends in MNCs, and resume-building tips. Organized by Programming Paathshaala, the event concluded with a Q&A session and fun giveaways, leaving attendees motivated and ready for their coding journey!
3D Concrete Printing to Hybrid Simulations

The Open Source Roadshow by the Computer Society of India (MAIT) on February 13, 2020, was a resounding success! Featuring industry experts like Kunal Kushwaha, Sanskar Jethi, and Shivay Lamba, the event introduced participants to Open Source, GitHub, and GSoC. Attendees gained invaluable insights, networked with speakers, and received personalized guidance on open-source development. Workshop- Placements & Competitive Programming
CSI hosted a workshop on placements and competitive programming with Mamta Kumari, Co-founder of PrepBytes. She emphasized the importance of problem-solving skills and aiming high in careers. Mamta advised focusing on coding rounds, as they’re essential to pass before companies consider development skills. The session ended with a quiz where winners received t-shirts.

On 14th March 2019, MAIT CSI, in collaboration with E-Cell MAIT, successfully hosted an Internship Fair at the Mini Auditorium, MAIT, Rohini. Students came dressed in formals, equipped with resumes, and got the chance to be hired by top Delhi startups offering incredible stipends. CAT Combat 2.0
MAIT-CSI successfully conducted CAT COMBAT 2.0, an online aptitude and domain-based test tailored for placement preparation. With enthusiastic participation, 1st and 2nd-year students tackled Logical, Verbal, and Quantitative questions, while 3rd and 4th-year students faced a mix of aptitude and domain-specific challenges. The event provided valuable insights into key improvement areas, empowering students to take a confident step closer to their dream careers!
CAT Combat
The MAIT-CSI recently hosted CAT COMBAT, an employability-focused test designed to prepare students for placement exams. Held on January 21st in the 9th block, the test challenged participants in Quantitative Analysis, Logical Reasoning, and English. Open to students across all years and branches, the event offered a real-world exam experience, complete with certificates for all participants and prizes for top scorers. With refreshments provided, CAT COMBAT was a successful step in helping students evaluate and enhance their job readiness.

I Qriosity
IQriosity - Race your Neurons, hosted by MAIT CSI, was a fantastic event that put participants' skills to the test! The first round challenged them with questions on Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English, and GK, all within a 30-minute time frame. Top performers earned CSI certificates and advanced to the second round, where they faced a thrilling quiz maze. A great opportunity for participants to sharpen their minds and prepare for placements!
Workshop on Data Structures
The DATA STRUCTURES WORKSHOP by Coding Ninjas at MAIT received an overwhelming response from students. MAIT-CSI extends heartfelt thanks to Prof. Dr. Ml Goyal, Director General of MAIT, and Mr. Satvir Deswal, Dean, for their support in making the event a success. Special gratitude to Prof. Vinay Saini, CSI Counselor, for his presence and guidance. Ms. Manisha Khattar from Coding Ninjas, a proud MAIT-Alumni, delivered an insightful 3.5-hour session on brain teasers and JAVA basics, enhancing students' logical and technical skills. The event ended with students gaining valuable knowledge and a deeper understanding of programming.

Pecha Kucha
MAIT-CSI recently hosted the engaging and fast-paced event "Pecha Kucha," where participants showcased their creativity and skills in the unique 20x20 presentation style. Each participant presented 20 slides, each lasting just 20 seconds, allowing for concise, impactful storytelling. With topics ranging widely, the event saw impressive displays of talent, fresh ideas, and quick thinking. After an intense final round on February 8th, judges awarded the prize to the standout presentation of the day. Pecha Kucha brought out the best in innovation and made for an inspiring, intellectual gathering.
Emerging New Trends In Technology
On January 24, 2017, MAIT-CSI held a seminar on "Emerging New Trends in Technology," hosted by faculty head Mr. Vinay Saini. The event covered essential IT topics, including DBMS, Operating Systems, Networking, Cloud Computing, and Pecha Kucha. The seminar, exclusive to MAIT-CSI members, received an enthusiastic response, with students actively participating in discussions and asking insightful questions. A quiz at the end added excitement, with goodies awarded for correct answers. The event succeeded in sparking interest and raising awareness about current IT trends among students.
Battle of Brains
MAIT-CSI kicked off the year 2017 with an electrifying start at Battle of Brains, where participants faced off in the ultimate test of wit, speed, and intellect. In just one intense hour, students competed to prove their caliber in this challenging aptitude showdown. The atmosphere was charged as each contender tackled puzzles and mind-bending questions, vying to be crowned the undisputed Brainiac. The event celebrated brilliance and quick thinking, bringing out the very best from everyone.

The workshop on Information Security, organized in collaboration with Appin Technology Labs, was a great success. Code Wars 2.0, an inter-college quiz contest, took place with exciting rounds testing participants on basic computer and C++ knowledge. The event featured two rounds: the first focused on general concepts, while the second challenged participants with hardcore coding problems. Goodies and participation certificates were awarded to all, with cash prizes for the top three winners. It was an engaging and competitive event that brought together tech enthusiasts from various colleges!

On 20th March 2015, CSI hosted an exciting inter-college quiz contest, "Code Wars." The event featured two rounds of challenging questions on basic computers and C++. Participants competed for top honors, with cash prizes awarded to the top three winners. Everyone who participated received goodies and a certificate of participation, making it a memorable experience for all!
Technical Lecture Series & Quizzes
The "Technical Lecture Series & QuizTech" at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, organized by IETE and CSI, includes an inaugural student forum, expert talks on "Next Generation Networks" by Mr. Satya N. Gupta and "VLSI Technology" by Prof. R.S. Gupta, followed by a competitive quiz event. Participants receive certificates, with special awards for the top three winners.
